Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the first photo of Kovaxin on the morning of March 1 at the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) in New Delhi.
Prime Minister Modi tweeted the selfie and said: “I took my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS. It is remarkable how quickly our doctors and scientists have worked to strengthen the global fight against COVID-19. I appeal to all those who have the right to vaccination. Let's Make India COVID-19 Free Together!
The nurse who entrusted the vaccination posts to Prime Minister Modi was Sister P from Pondicherry. Niveda was assisted by a nurse named Rosamma Ali from Kerala. Interestingly, Kerala and Pondicherry will vote in April.
Prime Minister Modi wears an Assamese gamcha, another state that participates in elections.
He said that no specific itinerary had been established for the prime minister and confirmed that the visit would not cause any inconvenience to travelers between Delhi and Delhi due to the lack of traffic in the early hours of the morning.
